The Bobtail Loop route is a 26 mile path that shadows the Kootenai River Rd. and Pipe Creek Rd. This route is simple, with one challenging hill about 4 miles into the ride. The hill is approximately 1 mile long and inclines at 400 ft. Riders may have the privilege of spotting herds of elk along the way, as well as enjoying views of the Cabinet Mountains!
Route Starts: Riverfront Park | Route Ends: Riverfront Park
The Haul Road cycling path is an easy 26 mile long (roundtrip) path and has little to no traffic. The full experience is done by treating this route as an “out-and-back” ride. Along the way, riders can enjoy stunning views of the Kootenai River and Fisher River.
Route Starts: East 5th St., near Libby Creek | Route Ends: Champion Haul Rd.
The Koocanusa Loop is a 83.7 mile long ride and is for advanced riders. The loop provides incredible views of the Lake Koocanusa and the rolling mountains that frame it. The first part of the route is on the western side of the lake until you cross the Koocanusa Bridge, where you then come down Highway 37. The first half has almost no traffic, but the highway half has enough of a wide shoulder that you will not need to worry about traffic.

The Lake Creek Loop is a 45 mile loop that is considered a must-do! A large majority of the path guides riders along the Kootenai River and Lake Creek.
Route Starts: Chamber of Commerce | Route Ends: Chamber of Commerce
The McKillop Route is an easy 26 mile “out-and-back” or shuttle ride. The route maintains a flat, smooth ride with a few small hills and beautiful views of the Cabinet Mountains. Traffic on the McKillop Route is very low and you are likely to see no more than 5 cars during the entire ride.
